This resort style pool, is located directly behind the future community clubhouse (photo to left).

The 2nd community pool is planned to be built as well as a 2nd community clubhouse. Future basketball, tennis courts are planned as well.

A children's play area is located right next to the pool area currently.

Lake Hancock and Lake Speer, are 2 lakes located in the Independence. Lake Hancock is a ski lake currently accessible for the lakefront homes with a future community boat ramp planned as well.

Independence offers multi-million dollar homes along the lake which are completely built, as well as others near completion along Lake Hancock. More lots are in the plan for future phases in Independence.

There are parks in between some of the streets offering beautiful landscaping, benches and walking paths. Many of the townhomes also have park areas facing the front of the home as well as some of the single family homes.

Orange County has indicated plans for a future community park approx 2 miles away on rte 535.

The new clubhouse that offers a pool table, a fitness room plus future tennis courts and another pool are planned.
